01Culture & its historyWhat we carry. What we choose.

For families with an entrepreneurial mindset.

Built on the human need to belong to a tribe and serve a purpose greater than ourselves.

KAIRON is building a culture and a parallel system for how we live, learn, work and support one another.

Strong foundations for us. A better future for our children.

A bad culture tells people what to think.
A good culture teaches people how to think.

We inherit culture. We can also shape it.

Long before we choose how to live, we learn ways of thinking and behaving from the people around us. Across generations, cultures carry knowledge, stories, principles and practices through teaching and everyday life. That knowledge can be lost when it is no longer practised or passed on. We can choose to build strong cultures consciously, carrying valuable foundations forward as life changes.

Who is it for?

Kairon is for families and parents who want to build a better way of living for themselves and their children.

By entrepreneurial mindset, we mean thinking independently, taking initiative and turning ideas into action. You may already run a business or be exploring your first idea.

Families take different forms. You can join as a family, as one parent with your children, or as a parent on your own. Single, separated and divorced parents are welcome.

We come together to share what we know, learn from one another and help build the culture.

04Our thirteen PrinciplesThe beliefs we share.
  1. We believe the people we choose shape the lives we live.
  2. We believe setting healthy boundaries is an act of self-love.
  3. We believe work is one of the ways we express our purpose and bring our ideas into the world.
  4. We believe money is a tool that amplifies our ability to create, contribute, and build.
  5. We believe technology exists to expand human potential, not replace it.
  6. We believe we are part of nature, not separate from it.
  7. We believe health is the foundation upon which everything else is built.
  8. We believe family is built through trust, love, and shared purpose, not only through blood.
  9. We believe curiosity is the beginning of all learning, and experience is our greatest teacher.
  10. We believe success grows when we help others succeed.
  11. We believe there is wisdom available beyond what we can see.
  12. We believe leadership exists to create more leaders, not more followers.
  13. We believe the greatest legacy we leave is the culture we pass on.

05Our eight FundamentalsThe culture in everyday practice.
  1. Our presence is our first contribution.

Arrive with attention, curiosity and compassion. Listen to understand. Notice how people feel around you, rather than trying to impress them.

  2. We are Builders.

Take responsibility for your life, work and culture. When you notice something that needs doing, offer a useful action and follow it through. Keep learning as you go.

  3. We create the path.

Have the courage to begin something that does not yet exist. Take a thoughtful first step before conditions are perfect, learn by doing and open possibilities for others.

  4. We give space.

Make room for people to think, feel, grow and be heard. Pause when emotions are high, listen before offering solutions and return to the conversation when you can understand each other.

  5. We grow together.

Recognise the different contribution each person brings. Share what you know, celebrate others' progress and support one another through difficulties and successes.

  6. We choose purpose.

Use your inner compass to choose what matters. Notice when fear, comfort, immediate gratification or other people's expectations are deciding for you, and return to your purpose.

  7. We own it.

Take responsibility for your choices, mistakes and impact. Name your part without blame or excuses, repair what you can, learn and keep building.

  8. We learn from life.

Stay humble and curious. Learn from success and failure, children and elders, nature, work and one another. Every stage of life has something to teach us.

08Shared costs & commitmentsExperience it before committing long term.

Experience it before
committing long term.

We share the rent and agreed household costs while exploring this way of living together. Joining the residency does not commit you to buying property, joining future residencies or becoming a guardian.

It gives us two months to learn what works—and decide together whether we want to keep building.

The budget and what shared costs cover are still being worked out and will be shared before anyone commits to the residency.

09Your hostA note from Vera.

Founder’s note

Your host

When I became a mother, I realised that the way I wanted to raise my daughter didn’t fit easily into the systems around us.

I gave birth at home. I chose not to send her to nursery or kindergarten. I wanted to take responsibility for her health and education and give her room to follow her curiosity. I knew those choices were right for our family, but living that way was harder when the structures around us were built for something different.

Every family brings its own choices and experiences; what brings us together is a willingness to build around shared principles.

That experience helped give Kairon Culture Club its purpose. I wanted to bring together families with an entrepreneurial mindset: people who think for themselves, bring different strengths and are ready to create a better way of living together.

I want my daughter to remember a childhood that felt safe, joyful and full of possibility—with trusted adults she could turn to whenever she wanted to learn something new. And I want us, as parents, to have room to do meaningful work, create and help one another succeed.

I believe that together, we can build systems more aligned with how we want to live, work and raise our children—and create a culture they will be proud to carry forward.

  2. Meet online.

When the online community opens, explore the culture and get to know aligned families.

  3. Explore residency.

An invitation to apply, followed by conversations to establish mutual fit. Selected participants then join the residency.

  4. Live and learn together.

Practise the culture through everyday life, with space for your own work and family.

  5. Find the guardians.

Afterward, both sides choose whether to continue. Through mutual fit, we find the people ready to help care for and carry the culture forward. Taking part in a residency does not automatically make someone a guardian.

  6. Build the world you want to live in.

Further residencies can help the right people, shared direction and strategy emerge.

Our long-term aspiration is land and a campus-inspired place with homes, work, learning and shared systems: an inhabited place for ordinary life. This is a future ambition, not a secured property.

Who knows what you might learn from taking a chance on a conversation with a stranger?

Everyone carries a piece of the puzzle.

Nobody comes into your life by mere coincidence.

Trust your instincts.
Do the unexpected.
Find the others.
